Costa Rica Hot Spring Los Laureles

There's Tabacon Hot Springs, Baldi Hot Springs, Eco Termales and also this hot springs, Los Laureles. D'Angelo and myself, along with our friend Christopher spent the afternoon at Los Laureles. This hot springs was definitely done in more traditional, Tico-style way; which is basic, adequate and practical. Los Laureles was designed to give Tico families and friends a place to hang-out and unwind after a long work week. There is no comparison between Los Laureles, Baldi and Tabacon, but that said, this hot springs with its .50 admission price, just may be a great option for backpackers and travelers on a budget. Baldi Hot Springs is one of the top 2 hot springs in the La Fortuna area, with the other one being the world famous Tabacon Hot Springs. Baldi Hot Springs is cheaper than Tabacon and draws a younger crowd, but has a more Disney-esque feel to it. But you won't be disappointed, no one ever is. So after a day of white-water rafting, waterfall repelling, zip-lining, nature hiking, ATV'ing, bike riding or whatever else you may get into in La Fortuna, the hot springs is a great way to relax.
