Walt Disney World Resorts Port Orleans Riverside at Dawn
It is sad that Disney Vacations are my most costly vice. I got hooked when I was little, and have spent many thousands of dollars on my habit ever since. That fact aside, here's a little compilation of footage I took at my favorite resort. The last few times I went I was still working a 3rd shift job, so I often found myself wandering around at four in the morning. This, I feel, is when the true charm of the place really comes out. So now, here is a short stroll around the grounds of Port Orleans Riverside.

My family will stay here in November. Can you tell me if there is any walk way connecting Port Orleans to Fort Wilderness?

Don’t look now, but it won’t be long before Disney’s Port Orleans resort is tied in with their upcoming film “The Princess and the Frog”. ; )

EDNFAMILY from the UK…hi, we have stayed at Riverside twice NOWHERE else like it and cant wait to go back in November 2010 even the price of around$7,600 Dollars WITHOUT spending money is WELL worth it…..

We did our 2nd year in a row here…2 crazy adults. Had a BLLLASST…I love the as much as you can drink HI-C on the meal plan!!!! Goes nice with a cigar and rainy day..hehehe

I really love the Port Orleans Riverside. It’s a beautiful hotel with alot of charm to it. Definitely my favorite resort on the property.

@hotone23 Yeah, I don’t think I’d be able to pull it off now since I haven’t worked 3rd shift in nearly three years. But at the time, I was up and runnin’ every morning by 4:00.

I wish I could go NOW! My husband & I had planned for a Disney World honeymoon & had choses Port Orleans-Riverside for our hotel, but we had to postpone the honeymoon til 3 months after the wedding since we had to wait for hubby to get his US visa. Right before we booked our plane tickets we found out about my pregnancy with our twin boys, so we decided to postpone the trip (again). Hopefully we’ll be good to go by the end of this year. Thanks for this video.. it kinda cured my Disney ache

Hi – I was wondering if the music in this video is from the resort? Is there a cd I can purchase that contains this resorts music?
It almost sounds like the music from the ferries you can take to Disney Downtown.
Very relaxing and reminds me of this resort. Please let me know where I can get a copy of the music!

You wouldn’t happen to know what happened to the water at this resort would you? I was there last summer and the water was completely black – it was quite sad to see the water so incredibly dirty. I recall the first time I stayed at this resort the water looked fairly clean and there were so many wild animals (ducks, rabbits, etc) all over the place. There were no wild creatures to be seen…they even removed the duck food dispenser machine. What happened??
